Ideally situated in the historic central area of our city next to a charming public garden, Park Place is within walking distance of the Supreme Court, Opera House, the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Bird Street Campus and St George's Park with its cricket ground, swimming pool and bowling greens. It is also close to St George's Hospital, Govan Mbeki Street and numerous restaurants, cinemas, art galleries and historical buildings.
Accommodation and rates Our accommodation consists of 46 single and double rooms, 2 family rooms and a fully furnished self catering flat in a secure building. Every room has television with M-Net and two DSTV sports channels, tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge. Rooms are fully serviced on a daily basis.
All of our rates are negotiable so please contact us for a quotation. We also welcome large group bookings and offer discounted rates to school groups, sports teams, Church groups etc. Facilities A full English breakfast is served daily, between 07h00 and 09h00. We also provide packed breakfasts/lunches on request. An evening meal consisting of a buffet dinner can also be provided on request.

Directions from Cape Town. From the N2 freeway, take the "City" off-ramp and follow the signs into Cape Road. Continue with Cape Road until the Horse Memorial on your right. Immediately past this, turn right at the traffic light into Rink Street. After the second traffic light in Rink Street take the first left into Western Road. Park Place is No 45 on the left, just past the garden. Directions from Grahamstown, Gauteng. Where the N2 turns inland towards Cape Town, continue straight onto the Settlers Freeway (M4). Take the Russell Road off-ramp. Cross over Strand Street at the traffic light beneath the freeway, cross Govan Mbeki Street at the next traffic light and go up Russell Road. Turn left at the first traffic light into Lawrence Street and continue to the T-junction. Turn right, first left and first left again into Western Road.
